How to use Plant Trays
- Plant trays are used to lift indoor and patio plants off the floor
- While the tray will catch water, it’s never a good idea to let your plants sit in water
- For best plant health, water your potted plants deeply in the sink
- Tepid water is best as cold water shocks the roots, causing leaf yellowing and leaf drop
- Once your plant is fully drained, return it to its cache pot or plant tray
- Providing a gravel base can do two things: you can humidify your plant with moisture, while the gravel keeps the roots out of direct contact with water
